Jessie lives and breathes music. Her passion for singing far exceeds more than most. She has been singing and entertaining on stage since she was just a small girl. She started her singing career at 5 years old by singing solos and with groups in church and school. From there she joined the Olympic Children’s Chorus during the ages of 10-13, and traveled to England to sing at many of the renowned cathedrals. In middle school through high school, Jessie took voice lessons on the side as well as being heavily involved in the music department through the school systems in Port Angeles, Washington. There she sang in several different choirs including an all-girls choir, a blended large choir, and a smaller vocal ensemble, as well as many quartets, duets, and solos as possible. She also competed in several competitions as a solo artist as well as in duets and small ensemble groups. Some of these competitions and audition only selected choirs include the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, Solo and Ensemble State Competition, All-Northwest Choir, and the All-Northwest Girls Choir. Jessie graduated with music honors. She then continued her musical profession at Central Washington University where she worked towards a major in vocal performance. This experience included more personal vocal coaching, being a part of a large mixed classical choir, and a small all-girls vocal jazz ensemble. She worked with a music business grad student to produce her first solo demo song, which she wrote the lyrics for.

After 2 years at Central, Jessie decided to take a break. Life happened. Starting in 2008, Jessie joined her church worship team as a background vocalist. After a couple years, she worked alongside the worship leader to grow and mature into a volunteer worship leader role. You can currently catch her once a month at The Crossing Church leading the praise and worship songs in service. In 2013, at 28 years old, Jessie Lee, and her unbridled passion for singing, finally couldn’t be contained anymore. She joined the vocal jazz ensemble at Peninsula College, and has been moving onward and upward since. She is currently starting her career as a solo jazz artist in our local town of Port Angeles, making a name for herself, and is also joined Olympic Express Big Band as their long-term singer. At the 2016 Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, Jessie won "Outstanding Performance" and received the opportunity to sing on the "Hamp's Club" big stage with a professional band. Jessie sings a little bit of everything, but her main journey has landed in jazz. She has written many songs, also plays a little piano and guitar and is learning to play drums! She has training in Classical/Opera and Jazz but sings a little bit of everything.

As her personal life goes, Jessie is a full-time mommy to young little Lilly Belle and toddler Lucius. Lucius was born 2 months prematurely and has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Jessie has a life story unlike most anyone you will ever meet. She has had a very traumatic life which fuels her passion for singing.
